Word Power ~ London International Black Book Literature Festival and Book Fair is the only book fair dedicated to the Black Diaspora in the UK. Word Power is organised by Centerprise Trust.
Centerprise Trust has over 40 years of unparallel experience in the writing and publishing industry; organising literary festivals, workshops, courses and events specifically aimed at BAME communities. Last year, Word Power attracted a very high percentage of African Caribbean readers, writers and those interested in the arts. By exhibiting, your company will be given a cost-effective opportunity of reaching thousands of potential customers.
Word Power caters for all types of exhibitors; so alongside the larger stalls that suits the more experienced or professional exhibitors, we will be providing table top stands that will be at a more affordable price for the new start up or small businesses. The Workshops
There will be workshops conducted by International Authors over the three days. There will also be book signings by Black British based authors as well as storytelling and poetry performances. The event is aimed at both small and large publishing houses, covering every aspect of publishing required for the reader and writer of all ages.
The Audience
The main visitors to the show will include:
- Women, men and children of African Caribbean origin
- Ages 18 – 65
- Affluent, contemporary well read
- Living in London, but we are expecting a high percentage to travel to the show from all over the UK
- Committed to reading, learning and writing.
