Book Of The Month – Wake Up Africa!

By Nathaniel U Agbuhowe

By Nathaniel U Agbuhowe

In his revolutionary new book, Wake Up Africa! Nathaniel U. Agbahowe comes forth with an appeal to the continental African, the African of the diaspora and the entire black race of the world.

“If we are to advance and survive as a people, we must seek to understand the meaning of life and how to survive on this planet called earth,” Agbahowe writes. “If we fail to do so, we must have missed the high calling of man. Our ancestors missed the mark. Should this generation do the same, we shall not only be leading future generations into darker alleyways, but also ensuring the extinction of the black race. At a time such as this when technology is in the panacea, we can no longer afford to sit on the fence.”

Particularly, Wake Up Africa! examines the many causes responsible for Africa’s current problems. Agbahowe points to a flawed mindset as being particularly to blame: “Africa has come to embrace a mindset culminating in the familiar blame-game scenario. Until we change this detrimental mindset of blame-game and dependency on others for our needs, there is no future for the African.”

Blunt and starkly honest, Wake Up Africa! provides a much-needed wake-up call to readers to end the inertia and indifference towards Africa and its people. Agbahowe’s call to action is stirring, his research is thorough and his message is clear: present and future generations must rebuild and strengthen this resilient continent and its people. “I believe that now is the time for the African in Diaspora to return to his or her vandalised and looted ancestral home and rebuild. Leaving it any longer can only lead to further slide of the continent into deeper obscurity,” Agbahowe writes.

PAN-AFRICAN News & Education courses

This Friday’s session will be led by brother Michael who will explain the many sides of the character of Tookey Williams.  Whilst there are no pretences to him being totally without contradictions, Tookey Williams was an Afrikan political prisoner who executed by the US state.  What is the origin of the so called ‘gangs’ or ‘street organisations’ that Tookey played a part in?  To what extend do these so called ‘gangs’ or ‘street organisations’ help or hinder the development of Afrikan communities?  What are the connections between called ‘gangs’ or ‘street organisations’ and state institutions?  What is the state of justice for Afrikan people in the US state?  These and many other questions will be explored during the workshop.  This is especially valuable for young people; come along and invite them to attend and join in the discussion.

When we were oppressed under slavery and colonialism our ancestors knew it; they knew that they had to remove these oppressive systems in order to be free.  It is a massive contradiction that despite the fact that we are actually living in the neo-colonial phase of history, most of us do not know what it is.  The problem this poses is that if we do not know it, we cannot understand it; if we cannot understand it, we cannot consciously do anything to challenge it; if we cannot do anything to challenge it, we cannot get rid of it; if we cannot get rid of it, we will remain stuck in it; if we remain stuck in neo-colonialism, Afrika cannot be liberated and we will not be a free and self determining people.  The critical task before us therefore, is to raise our collective level of consciousness of the nature of neo-colonialism and how to defeat it in Afrikan communities everywhere.

Sophia Stewart -The Mother Of The Matrix

Mother of the Matrix, as she is affectionately known wrote her epic “The Third Eye” while still in college in 1981. The book was the foundation and contains the core elements of 2 blockbuster films: The Terminator and The Matrix.

In “The Third Eye”, Stewart has transformed metaphysical and spiritual concepts into the most revered science fiction films of the 20th cent

The Terminator and The Matrix films are among the most artistically phenomenal and financially profitable film franchises in Hollywood’s history, having currently grossed over $2.5 billion dollars and continue to generate revenue, internationally.

By Sophia Stewart

“I wrote The Third Eye to wake people up, to remind them why God put them here. There’s more to life than money,” said Stewart. “My whole message to the world is about God and good and about choice, about spirituality prevailing over ‘technocracy’.” Stewart doesn’t seem the least bit concerned about matching the success of her work and confidently declares, “A master will keep creating.” Sophia knows her work and knows who she is and says soon the world will know, in her words, “I’m the real thing like coca-cola.”

Sophia speaks on her court case against Columbia Pictures:

I want the people to know that the defendants have not only defrauded me… but with this great deception the entire world has been made a victim to this scam… the Matrix movies and Terminator series are global and historical… history has to be put right… my work is very important… just as important as the writer H.G. Well’s work… my work must be continued to make an impact upon the world and only I… being the real creator can duplicate the success of this great body of work… it does not matter the color of my skin… the beauty of the work speaks for me… and it also reveals my soul… who I am and why I wrote the Matrix and Terminator… I wrote the Matrix(which is the evolution of consciousness) to awaken the masses… but the lies and illusions of the Hollywood studios continued to keep everyone locked into the Matrix… the illusions are ongoing with their webs of machinery… the case will be heard in September, 2005… and if it is not settled before then… the world is soon to know the truth… and the truth of the matter is that these defendants are “Big Fat Liars”… the fallout will be huge… these people’s reputations are never going to be the same… they will never work in Hollywood again… they will lose face and respect… no one will buy their products or want to work with them ever again… and the companies they own will take stock hits… all because of greed and theft… and they have brought all of this on themselves… the lesson here is… the same one Martha Stewart and the Enron CEO had to learn and that is “No one is above the law”… the law applies to all… if you steal… then you will have to pay… and that you lose more than honor when you steal from the very people who are giving you their money and trust… the record has to be set straight… this work is in honor of God…. Some men upon the Earth give honor unto other men… but with my work I honor God with it… this is Divine Justice… man cannot steal from God… it is written in the scripture Samuel 1:5 chapter 9th verse!
